Chuka

A true crooner in the first rite, Chuka draws from an eclectic depth of musical influence. Having lived at least a decade each on three different continents, those influences are indeed varied. They range from ABBA and New Edition to Celtic Woman and Dolly Parton. Born in the United Kingdom, where he spent his formative years, he then moved to Nigeria with his mother and finally to the United States in 1999. Just 9 years old when he realized his vocal ability, Chuka soon discovered that singing was more than simply something he could do well. Music brings him joy, he says. “Singing brings me happiness; relief. It acts as a remedy or medicine whenever life brings hurt.”

Watch this one closely and listen carefully as Chuka brings his own brand of joy and relief for when life closes in!
